So I was at Old Navy a few days ago and found some sports pants on sale for $10. Need some for practice so I grabbed em - a black pair and a cream-colored pair. Then I realized that they look like MP!
I brought them home and put them in the sink - I think they're waterproof, but probably not seam-sealed. I put toilet paper along the seams inside the pants, then made a bowl-shape and filled it with water. The TP and liner were still dry when I removed them. They have a nylon liner that could be cut out to save weight, and I could probably check the seam-seal that way, but I didn't remove it.
The tag says polyurethane.
They're much more...um...stylish than Frogg Toggs.
