My fiancee and I are supposedly getting a ride up to Franklin tomorrow. Anyone heading that way? We'd like to make it up to Clingman's Dome and hike south for about two weeks, AND THEN...

We have an Amtrak ticket April 28 for 8 PM in ATL. We plan to make it back to Franklin or around there by the 26 or so, and hoping a little someone out there would be an angel for us and drop us at the station (or my folks) that day. I'll be checking my email whenever I have the chance.

:o I'm a little confused, you got a ride to Franklin. Then you're off to Springer. And at Springer you need a ride to ATL? (Stop smirking at me... I'm completely sober and I still don't understand.) Where/when are you going?
I'm (hopefully) going to HarpersFerry in a few days and walking north, so I'm not much help. But Come on.. Explicate your itinerary :rolleyes: -- I'm sure some nice folk will help.
