I know this is late notice, but two other sections hikers and I need a ride from Unicoi Gap to Amicalola Falls State Park. We plan to walk south to north and could use a ride either at the start of our hike (leaving our vehicle at Unicoi Gap) or the end of our hike (leaving our vehicle at Amicalola).
We are leaving Orlando, Florida at 6 am on April 21 and should be in the neighborhood by late afternoon or early evening. We are hoping to get through Atlanta before rush hour.
The late notice was caused by 3 others of our group bailing on us. Now it seems a bit silly to drive two vehicles from Orlando Florida for three people.
