Where I went to school, $20 of a hundred dollar purchase is a 20% savings. But, yes, if you buy more, the percentage drops.
You are right, $20 is 20% of a $100.
My problem is that I order from Canada. It means $20-30 shiping, custom $20-30, canadian taxes 15%, plus 20% up for exchange rate...so those $100 go up to over $200! :(
This is an expensive sport...;)

You'll actually SAVE money buying all Arc'teryx, that's nuts!
There are outfitters here, but none of them has any sales or deals. No coupons, no anual sales,...
And everything is always 30% and up more expensive then in US although exchange rate is 1:1.15 or so...
I buy stuff here, but you guys have more choice and options then us.
