I may be stretching the definition of "tradition" on several of these:

1. Half Gallon Challenge and 4 State Challenge
2. Carrying a rock from Springer to the Big K
3. Mooning the Cog and Hike Naked Day
4. Stopping at the Doyle and staying at Miss Janet's
5. Weighing of the pack at Amicalola
6. Lightening of pack after 30 miles
7. The urban myth tales of Ward Leonard
8. Talking about Wingfoot, Baltimore Jack, and Lone Wolf
9. Hitchhiking in from all points along the AT to attend Trail Days
10. Talking about pack weight, Bryson, speed hiking(these are probably more of an internet pastime than an actual on-trail activity)
11. Bragging about how many days it has been since the last good body cleanse
12. Going cold turkey on oatmeal after the 1st month

How about adding:

Stopping for the obligatory photo at ATC in Harpers Ferry
Complaining about the rocks in PA
Swatting mosquitos starting in NJ
Scrambling for the "work-for-stay" slots in the Whites' huts
Staying in Shaw's (which thankfully is still open)

How far back do most of these "Traditions" go?..I don`t recall hearing of most of these things before and I live in an AT time capsule :D
