Has anybody here done anything beyond just overnight/weekends on the Tuscarora Trail, and have a Trip Report? (Preferably the VA part?)
For those of you who don't know what it is, it was originally made as a western detour for the AT when there were serious concerns about private development over the existing trail path before the AT became a park. The AT became a National Scenic trail and the Tuscarora/Big Blue trail fell by the way.
It's been re-built again as a blue blazed side trail, and it runs from Shenandoah to Deans Gap in Pennsylvania via Hancock Maryland and the C&O Canal Path.
