Is anyone going to be aorund woody gap friday the 19th in the afternoon, i need a ride back to amicalola falls so i can start my hike, the hostels won't be open that weekend. Much obliged
Well, Since I had to blow off Trail Days I COULD be over that way. Do you still need a ride? PM me if you do. I'll be checking email Thursday the 18th in the afternoon.

Not too bad. Still kickin', I just ain't kickin' quite as high! Still battling a bad run of health but definately on the road back to hiking health. Still toying with the idea of another hike in 08. We'll see.

I am trying to get some time in June to do just that. I haven't been up there since last September and am itching to get back out there. I'll certainly let you know. I'd like to do Springer to Dick's Creek again (5th time!).
