I've got some Urethane coated rip stop nylon. What should I use to seal the seams with? Can you use a sylicone sealer or do I have to use a urethane sealer?

Don't use the silicon sealer. The fabric shops sell a different sealer for urethane. Check outdoor fabrics. My home computer broke--I'm sure someone will come up with the link.

Silicone like McNet is not meant to be used on urathane coated nylon. Seam sealers for urathane generally smell like toxic waste. "Seam Grip" diluted with a bit of laquer thinner is the stuff I use with great results. Now all that is available is water based sealers that just don't work well at all.
