Leaving Friday morning from Hot Springs to Davenport Gap. Any ideas to what the low temps will be at the higher elevations and any recomendations for clothing? Will be sleeping in Hammocks with 3/8" CCF pad and light weight summer synthetic bag with zipper removed to be used as quilt.

Not sure about the lows, but I will be heading the other direction! Leaving the I40 area on Saturday going north. I, too will be hammocking with a 32 degree bag used as a quilt and a version of the Neat Frost Pad.
What arrangements have you made about transportation?

The folks at Standing Bear Farm are shuttling us to Hot Springs Friday morning.
