According to his website, skurka plans to hike from springer to HF without resupply next year.

I thought he was going to set a PCT record this year. ? I'm curious how he plans to carry enough food for 1000+ miles! I guess he won't be ultralight for the first 800m or so.:D Hope the golite pack can handle the strain. And does this mean he won't be ordering pizza at the Mt. Rodgers visitors center? Good luck Andrew!!!:)

...with my feet, and walking on my hands.
Am I the only one who thinks that it's impossible?

Am I the only one who thinks that it's impossible? I don't know. How many and what kind of objects would have to be juggled?

I'm going to juggle my priorities. I'll have a better handle on the number next spring.

on a uni-cycle....Wheeled vehicles aren't allowed on the AT and in a few areas unis are specifically prohibited (http://www.whiteblaze.net/gallery/showphoto.php/photo/3873/size/big/sort/1/cat/all). The sign had to be installed after numerous problems caused by renegade mountain unicyclers. (http://www.unicycling.com/muni/2004/index.htm)

From his website: Assuming all is going well, I think you can expect another BIG hike from me starting in late-Spring 2007. I am toying with a few ideas right now, one being a circumnavigation of the West using the Continental Divide Trail, Pacific Northwest Trail, Pacific Crest Trail, Grand Enchantment Trail, and Arizona Trail.... Humble Pie Trail, Toot-Your-Own-Horn Trail, and wrap up with the Head-As-Big-As-California Trail.
Glad to hear it. Another BIG hike, *yawn*. Love the humility. *Stretches*. Tell me all about it..... zzzzzzz.
Not an attitude I have experienced in most LDHs. Is this guy sponsored?
