hello all, i was looking to do a 30 mile section hike in pa. heading south and ending at the reservoir near the pinicale or pulpit rocks i think its winsor shelter there.is the blue knob shelther about 30 miles and if so is there a place i can get dropped off near there anywhere? what road or intersection . any help would be great
Just did from route 309 south into Port Clinton that was about 30 miles. Was a great hike had a lot of fun. Lots of Vistas as well and plenty of places to fill up on water. Camped near Panther Stream that was a treat to sit on a rock and cool off the feet in the water. Starting at 309 you'll cross a couple of road ways
where on 309 did you get on the trail? i saw your post sounds like it was a nice section to hike. i did about 10 miles around the pinicale last week and really enjoyed it. thats why i was hoping to do a section north of there and ending at pinicle. good to hear there is plenty of water too. thanks
