Just wanted to drop you Hammock users a line and say that Tom was in my store in Wellington, New Zealand about an hour ago. We talked for a while and he is trying to break into the market over here, which is very cool. It will be interesting to see how he does down here...as Kiwi's are very intent about absolutely bombproof gear. Cool to see someone from the US industry never the less...and YES he will be at Trail Days. Cheers!

I thought Tom is Canadian - hardly US industry - North American perhaps but still there are some differences - for example a considerable difference in the rate of exchange.

Tom is from Florida originaly and his business is Washington State. He just lives in Canada now.

I thought he was from B.C. I know that when I called for the larger rain fly, he had said he could get it out quick because he had stockpiled some in the states and that he wouldnt have to send it through customs. Anyway best of luck to Tom in Kiwi land. He and Ann are very nice people who really stand behind thier products. Best light weight hammock as far as Im concerned. I used one all the way to Maine!!

Sorry but I don't know his life story...I was just commenting on seeing him down here. Thought users of his product would be interested, as outdoor products are extremely territorial and it's nice to see familiar faces on the other side of the world.

I don't hold living in canada against him...he didn't hold living in NJ against me.
besides, its a damn good hammock he makes.
