I just got an email from sportsmanguide.com. They have the Anti-mosquito Ultra-light Hammock on sale right now for $39.97. Weighs 20 oz. Top loader.

Anyone test this one out yet?

With a small bit of ingenuity, you can use Sierra Designs add a guyout clips to the tarp and simply tie out the mozzie netting to those. Not difficult at all.

Possibly, this IS just a guess as I only have the tarp not that hammock.

There are 5 tie outs in the body of the tarp. it is likely that the 4 cords holding the netting up could be tied to 2 of the tie outs, it looks as if it wouldn't be perfect, more along the lines of "any port in a storm". And, it would require rigging the tarp "Upside down" but I think that is a minor consideration.

The Byer looks similar, but only has 2 tieouts centered on the netting, so a stretchy ridgeline holds the netting up. This works very well with that tarp, but dos'nt hold the netting off quite as well as the Anti-Mosquito hammock looks like it may.

I'll try to get pics of the tie outs (tarp "rightside up") & send them to you later today. No promises, they are black nylon on a dark camo tarp.

Ok, I just set up the tarp with a picture of the hammock in my mind, don't think it will work as I suggested. The tie points are way to low on the tarp even with the sag in the hammock provided by my ample weight
Only other suggestion I have is tie both pairs to a ridge line, maybe not as effective as shown in the ad photo, but worth a try, I suppose.

That hammock under that tarp I would use two ridge lines side by side and possibly tie a seperate piece of cord down from the center of each ridgeline onto the tarp or ground to keep them taunt and the mesh balloned open.
I hope that makes sense.

That Hammock looks a lot like the Byer Moskito which has one ridgeline, weighs under 1 pound and is $19.95 last I looked at C&C Outfitters..(I think.)
I bought one from Campmor and paid ? $24....don't remember.

I'm gonna try and sew in some more tie out points on the Byer so the mesh is more expanded.
