Man it must be brutal up on the trail today for all the thru`s still in this area..I was on the section of trail near Brunswick, Maryland earlier and the air temp was 95 and with the humidity it was suppose to feel like 102 with the heat index!...I know someone who just quit his thru last week because he just couldn`t take the oppressive heat any longer here in the mid-Atlantic area :sun

Here in NC, it was 87 at 4:30 and E at the airport it was 93. 69 at Purchase Knob in the Smokies and 71 on Grandfather Mt. at the swinging bridge.
