this year i will section hike from dalton ma to manchecster vt,then jump up to kinsman nocth in nh and hike from there to a trail that leads to sucess pond road at west peak of goose eye mountain ,just past carlo co shelter
this hike will complete 13 states from 2001 to 2006 and get me barely into maine,i will finish in 2007.how easy is ti to get back to gorham if i leave the trail here.:cool: neo
i decided i will get off the trail at bethel maine instead:cool: neo
or maybe andover maybe:cool: neo

Success Pond road gets a lot of traffic on weekends, not so much weekdays. Bethel is a very busy tourist town. Andover is very used to hikers, and it isn't hard to hitch to town from the trailheads. Welcome to Maine, Neo!:cool:
