Harpers Ferry north

Greetings all - just joined and have been having a great time looking around!
We do a trip every fall (6 or so guys), so far we have done Virginia, and we are starting in Harpers Ferry this year. Anyone know of any good tent spots 9- 12 miles north? Thanks

in md, you're supposed to stay only in/around the shelters or the dahlgren backpacker camp
