The opening on my HH just does not grab as tight as it did at first. Even my Underquilt doesn't hold tight to it.
Is there a way to improve the grabbing power of velcro when it gets a little matted down? I hope I don't have to replace it.

Got lint on the catch side? If so clean it with a plastic fork.

If it looks clean (no lint) try a good brushing on both sides with an old toothbrush. Sometimes that helps, sometimes don't. Depends somewhat on how old it is.

Ditto on the cleanig instructions - the hook and loop premise of velcro does wear out over time - the loops more so than the hooks. The fuzzy side of the velcro often needs replacing long before the hook side. If you need it done professionally, contact Penny with Specialty Outdoors (http://www.specialtyoutdoors.com/) - she is awesome!

When the hook side lints up a small wire brush will clean it out...it will fluff the fuzzy side also...
