hello everyone, I have a question,and am looking for help..here goes. I am planning a thru hike for march, but I want to do some of the trail soon.I had thought of going from springer to around ashville to visit some family. but knowing myself I would proubly want to continue on. so my question is, if I do this around september or october is it possible or feasible to enter baxter and summit katahdin in the winter..thanks.... october 15th is the end of summiting season
