View Full Version : Where can I buy the little clips to attach a tent body to a tent pole?

I just bought a tent that I love, but it uses little loops of silny that you slide the pole through. I would like some of those nifty little clips so I can sew them into the silny loops.
There are two styles that I have seen. One is the one that looks like a narrow fishhook. The other is just a wide clip about half an inch long. I'd would prefer the wide one, but either should work.

Some at the bottom of the page. Sorry not the wide ones.

I got some like that from the original tent companies. In those cases it was Eureka and Sierra Designs, but I would imagine any of the reputable companies would help you out. Pretty sure they are specific to certain pole diameters.

Cool, I'll call the manufacturer and then try these websites.
I even found a way to attach them without sewing.

It's hard to explain, but right now the tent has little silny loops that you put the pole through. If I find the right clip, it should have a hole in the bottom of it so you can attach the clip to the tent. I'm going to put the silny loop through the hole in the clip and then pull the lip through the rest of the hole. Should make a girth hitch sort of connection. I'll post pics once I do it.
