Going camping with someone else for the first time and I have no problem finding plenty of "double" sleeping pads but cant find any pads designed for two people. Does such a thing exist?

I only know of one and it weighs 15 lbs and sells for $149! (http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/links/link.jsp?id=0025938516444a&type=product&cmCat=perf&rid=0180101070502&xpid=k17401&cm_ven=Performics&cm_cat=Affiliate%2Dclick&cm_pla=Nextag&cm_ite=DDI%20Link&afsrc=1) We are a couple who share a quilt and use two pads - side by side. It works well for us.

Therma Rest sells a coupler you can use to connect two of their pads together. http://www.campmor.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?productId=39179037&memberId=12500226 I've never used it before, unluckily, but for $12.95 you can't go too wrong.

The Thermarest coupler can also be used on other sleepeing pads. My wife and I use one with our Big Agnes air mattresses. A bit tight, but it works.

The Insulmat X-Lite Double (http://www.pacoutdoor.com/2005/index.cfm?action=product&productID=7&groupID=3&familyID=1) mentioned by paulbrown137 looks sweet for a hiking couple. At 6lbs, 9 ozs it isn't for ultralighters, but it is packable.
