The new bridge over the White River in West Hartford, VT is finished now. I drove over it for the first time a few weeks ago. I think the old bridge has even been torn down and taken away already (hard to see from the interstate). I'll always remember crossing over that old bridge on my thru. The store was still open then and I had a breakfast sandwich. Yum! Anyone know the last thruhiker to cross the old steel bridge, or the first to cross the new bridge?
