We don't use plywood in Maine. Our specialty used to be baseball bat floors. Now we use milled lumber.

A great place to leave food for lost and hungry hikers that may venture that way after you. Of course, they have to beat the bears, mice, racoons, and skunks to it, since they have learned to hang around the shelter for their next free meal. If they're too late, at least they get to see the bears, mice, racoons, and skunks when they come looking for their next handout.

A way to make sure the light doesn't shine in your eyes and keep you awake on starry nights.

A way to make sure the light doesn't shine in your eyes and keep you awake on starry nights.

And makes you think its still night time at 8 AM (like those that don't have any windows in them).

Great places to study what kind of roofing materials leaks the most/soonest in a downpour?

A great way to find out if you really did cross the mountain you thought you might have crossed, or still have it in front of you to cross?
