What's up ya'll,
Does anybody have experience with the Campmore 550 down bag?

The price is cheap..but is the bag any good? :-?
I have the 20* model which has lasted over 6000 long distance miles and it keeps on ticking. Good bag overall, great for the money!
I've got the 20 degree down bag as well and I love it. Great bag and for the price, it's even sweeter.

I've played with a buddy's 45 degree Campmor bag. Decent stiching, average fabric, blah blah blah. Great deal on a bag for a few more ounces.

I have a 20 degree Campor bag. It is one of the very few things that went all the way from Springer to Katahdin. I highly recommend it.

I was pleased with the bag, can't really say "how lofty" it was, I guess about 5 or 6 inches. Also, I never washed it during my hike, and I used a liners most nights, unless it wasn't cold. One thing about it that I really liked was the "poor" construction. It doesn't have baffles, it is sewn through. However, the construction allows you to shake all the down to one side. So on really cold nights, you can load up the top side with down, and just have nylon on the bottom.

The 20 degree is baffled, but doesn't have a side baffle from top to bottom, IIRC. The 45 degree one was sewn through both the inside liner and outer cover.
Good bag for the money. Lots of manufacturers are selling China bags now to get a low price point. Campmor's China bag is a good product.
