Just Jeff, that's what I thought too but I couldn't find the other thread - perhaps it was over on Hammock Forums

Karma is a beautiful thing. His link doesn't work and my guess is he isn't a contributing member so he can't edit it.

Maybe it was removed as spam since you haven't posted here before.

The mods here generally don't do that if it's somewhat related, though. I'd still encourage you to participate instead of just posting a link. JMHO.

Maybe the adimins thought it was spam.

Oh ok. Thanx for the help and advice. The corrected link (without the '?' i the URL was www.rockclimbing.com )

So what kind of format are you looking for in a backpacking site? I hate climbing so I'm not going to bother looking at your site.

I guess somethign along the lines of a site that offers forums based upon regions of desired hiking, gear, finding partners, news, etc. I love Whiteblaze but I was looking for something similar who's primary focus wasn't just the AT.

Check the links button in the top menu, there are some there.

There is a forum for other long trails here. As far as forums about backpacking in general - there are many. I don't know of any place like WB that isn't about the AT. A guy tried to start one last year, but he tripped over his ego and broke the idea.

Haha, egos can do that. Thank you very much though for the info
