So...have been looking through the databook and have come up with a quandry for you aged and wise AT hikers of yore...
The books makes particular mention of Coleman and alcohol as types of fuel that many facilities sell by the ounce or gallon. Godo to know! However...I have not yet decided on the type of stove I'll use. I have a primus...and I love it...but it uses a canister propane/butane mix. I have always wanted to do the homemade alcohol burning stoves...but am a bit timid about them...
If I don't opt for the homemade and stick with the tried and true...how difficult would it be to find fuel along the trail?
