I have a 32 year old alpine designs "high loft" series sleeping bag which is in really great shape... yeah, i know it weighs almost five pounds, but i think it was rated to around 0 ... I can't find out anything about the history of this Boulder Colorado company. what happened to them? i've got to admit i have some emotional attachment to this bag... and maybe i should be posting this as humor, but given how much this thing weighs i wonder about wearing it in camp --- anybody ever put the foot end of a mummy bag on as a hood and double the bag up in some mysterious way?
