Someone just offered me a whole poop-load of Dry-Tech T-Shirts. Although these are 70% Cotton 30% Polyester, the company espouses the "wicking" properties of the material. So should I take these shirts and use them on the Trail or are they not worth it?:-?

I just looked at what apparel is made with this fabric hoping to find a review of the material. It is mostly used in clothing designed for fairly low-key activities like golfing, walking and general (non-technical) sports apparel. While this fabric might be OK for hiking in a less humid environment, my guess is it will stay wet on the AT.

70% cotton is not for the trail. (unless it's summertime)
