Has anyone on Whiteblaze encountered the runners in the annual JFK 50-mi run? Meeting 1,000 runners on the AT is a not to be forgotten experience.

I was one of the runners back in 92. I never saw a backpacker. I finished in 8hrs. 12min. by the way.

I don't run. Are we supposed to be impressed?

I'm impressed by Lone Wolf's run in '92, and by BlackCloud's volunteer work.
