Call Baxter and ask.

Baxter doesn't know. Not all hikers "sign in". Some stealth camp and climb up like me.

Patrick "Trouble" Pilegg from No. Augusta, GA crossed the Kennebec on November 11 headed south for Gorham after flipping up to Katahdin. Judging on his start date on March 27 at Springer Mountain, I would guess he is closing in on Andover with the Mahoosuc's staring him down with a few surprises waiting. With mild weather during the month of November here in Maine, he's having a great hike! However, December and snow is right around the corner and I wish him the best for a completion of his thru in Gorham. Yesterday, I pulled my boat from the Kennebec Crossing, however if anyone knows of a late NBer, please give a holler. Thanks, Steve

Thanks for letting us know about Trouble, Steve! And many thanks for helping thousands of ATers cross the Kennebec safely over the years.

I saw a guy, Kevin, at DWG. He was WAY behind the previous Nobos who were flipping. Although, Kevin has no plans to flip.

Yes Steve, a great service you provide to many. Hope to meet you one day on a thru!

I think SuperDave is still out there. Beater ran into him a week or so ago, according to his TJ.

I met a NOBO, Bookworm, a week or so ago in VA south of Pearisburg. That guy must REALLY like spending time alone. He is leaving lots of good books in the shelters, though. ;) He is the only backpacker I have seen (besides Snapshot) in a number of weeks.

Where you at Marta? Will you be finished or near the NOC for the SoRuck?

She's here in Damascus.

Cool. Looks like she'll be finished well before the SoRuck. Hopefully she'll be able to make it. Maybe there'll be the odd southbounder (heh, heh aren't they all) hiking through as it's happening.
