You're right, I guess they assumed only locals would be reading the article. Chester is in Orange County, New York.

At first I had the same idea you did about "only locals," but then I stopped and realized they were posting it on the WORLD WIDE web. So, I think my initial assumption was wrong. Now I think they want people all over the world to have access to their news. They just don't want them to know where they are! (did you keep up with all the indefinite pronouns? LOL. It seems to go with the indefinite locales, I suppose!)
Anyway, it seems a common theme of newspaper sites, so I assume there's just something I'm no getting. Too dumb, I reckon.
Again, thanks fer the location! I'm sure I could have racked up a few hits for some site and found it myself in the end, or guessed at it, that is.
