Just in time to give to your hiking buddy, a new wallet made entirely of duct tape: http://www.thinkgeek.com/homeoffice/gear/5f21/

Non-sticky duct tape -- that's a new thing in the world!

Can't remember where I read it but do you know what is an indication of poor worksmanship? Wrinkles in your duct tape.

I've been carrying one real similar to that for about three years. It's a real conversation starter. It's starting to show some wear, but I figure it'll be pretty easy to fix...

man, and i thought that i invented the duct tape wallet!

it all started with a worn ziplock wallet; that (on a zero day in a shelter), got transformed into a duct tape wallet....i knew i should've gotten a patent!

I believe that Jester is best known for DT wallets. He's into multi-colored duct tape and Alice of The Brady bunch. Weird, eh?

Not to mention his duct tape raingear, his duck tape business suit, his duct tape suit of armor, and his duct tape undershorts (sweaty!).

I saw a guy last year on the AT who made a guitar case out of some couch stuffing and duct tape...the thing hardly weighed anything.

has any of you read KAYAKS TO HELL or WHITEWATER TALES OF TERROR by William Nealy? they are whitewater cartoon books that were written back in the late '70s and early '80s. he devoted a whole chapter to duct tape clothes, boots, vests, hats, etc. very bizaar comics. how to dress a squirrel and another crouton related death are just priceless. if you get the chance to see either book, they are worth your time to read and a good chuckle. his imagination was so keen but unfortunately he took his own life in 2001. he lived, paddled and mt. biked around Ashville.

This isn't new to all of you, is it? There was a big fad of duct tape wallets and evrything a few years back..maybe it was only with the "younger crowd"..

Naw, It's not just with the younger crowd. I can recall making many things out of Duct Tape and have heard most of the other manes for this essential invention.

Ok, so some of you may think I am a nut, but I presently have about two feet of duct tape folded up to the size of a business card and stored in my wallet for emergency purposes. Believe it or not I have had to use it several times in a pinch.

Here are a couple of websites to add to your entertainment value:

After I made my first duct tape hat, I traded in my tin foil hat.:banana
