Hmmm. Thinking about heading up to Duncannon this weekend. May give Tricks a call tonight.
The added bonus to doing it this weekend is that the weather is supposed to be crappy, so I can go up intending to do some hiking, and instead I will be able to rationalize staying in the hotel all freakin' weekend.
Who's with me?

Yes, two nights. Hopefully Sue Grace playing Saturday. Don't know about that for sure, though. Planning on leaving around 7:30 tonight and returning home Sunday.

There will be a blackout period for us being on Whiteblaze. Fortunately, we're used to blackouts. As many of you know, when Sue plays the computer in the Doyle is pushed into the corner. The computer's name is Baby.
Having a great time. Tricks is looking through the photo registers looking for hotties. Dude is looking for his smokes, and I'm about to stop doing this and get back to my beer. . .

Actually, if it's you guys at the Doyle already, and it's not yet seven PM, I think the "blackout" period you speak of will more likely occur tomorrow morning, at least for some of you. :D

Oh, they had fun....I got phone calls......Sure wish that I was there instead of work.....oh, well, trying to work my magic and make it out for the ruck next week.
The Doyle is to hikers what Mecca is to Moslems, it must be visited once in your lifetime. Of course some of us, like Jester and Jack are more pious than others. One night in the Doyle will gaurentee you the key to hikers heaven but Jester is trying for 100 virgins and so is a frequent pilgrem to the Doyle.

When I hiked through it was on a Sunday the bar was closed and I did something I'll never do again, I hiked the whiteblazed trail around town (how stupidly silly). Anyway, I've been back a few times since, but haven't stayed there.

OK... Now I understand the phone message I had from some poor wanna be Thruhiker that YOU BOYS must have influenced. The poor guy sounded absolutely confused! He was calling from the Doyle and hoping to make a reservation here in Erwin... You all wouldn't know anything about that would you???
