LAdies and Dudes,
I wanted to give a big thank you to this entire community of thoughtful posters and insightful providers of information. Just last fall my good buddy Ross convinced me to take off school this spring semester and go on a thru hike. We're leaving february 27 at Springer Mountain, and we are all geared up and ready to go, but I wanted to make sure I thanked all of you before it got too late. This is my first post but I've honestly used these forums for information on everything from dehydrating foods to waterproofing solutions to soap suggestions, and I don't think I could have prepared nearly as well without the information I've gathered here. I'm sure these guys aren't in any need of praise, but terrapin_too, L.Wolf, Sgt Rock, Sly come to mind just off the top of my head as people who were in particularly helpful and resourceful. Anyway hopefully I will see some of you out there this Spring. I'm from Pittsburgh, PA. what it dew, [email protected]
