I just got a new down jacket, and it arrived pretty flat from being stored and shipped. I was advised a week or so ago to put my synthetic bag into the dryer on air fluff with a few tennis balls. Will this work for down also?

It does. I've had success with just putting the item in the dryer on air fluff for 20 minutes without the tennis balls.

Recently I read to not use balls as they can tear the dividers in down sleeping bags.
What jacket did you buy? Do you like the colour?

I got this one. (http://www.campmor.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?productId=39252002&memberId=12500226) It's not the best, but it's better than the fleece-lined shell from WalMart that I've been using. And it was cheap.

I got the purple/black. The color is pretty nice.

You got a HOT deal there, Victoria. It will do the job and it is neat to be reversible so you can put the dirty side in or out... or both if you wish. haha
