Do you have a special home made design you use in implimenting a hose inside a bottle as opposed to buying a commercial hose and bladder?
No.
A hose will only work with a bladder or soft container. If say, a Camelback bladder was rigid like a bottle, it would create too much of a vacuum after a couple sips. You either need to replace the lost water volume with air (by putting a hole in the bottle for example) or by having the container itself lose volume, which only a soft container will do.
For a cheap hydration system, get a Platypus bottle and add in the Platy hose for a few more bucks.
