Hello wild children big and small,

You might have seen the below notice about our upcoming parent/child
workshop at the Roots Farm in Flagpole Magazine. Just in case, I wanted to
send to all of you, because many of you specifically requested such a
course. Well, here you go!

We will have a special instructional treat as Evan McGowan (hope I spelled
that right E) joins us to take us through some basic animal tracking
exercises he learned while studying under John Young at the Wilderness
Awareness School in Washington state. He has much experience with youth, and I for one am very honored to have him come teach in his home town, at our farm!

Also, Sarah Calloway, past youth counselor at Second Nature, will be on handto demonstrate friction fire, something her program's kids use to cook every one of their dinners!

Join us on the Root's Farm Primitive Skills Trail for some fun with the
youngins! www.rootsfarm.org

Also, if you have ALREADY attended a course with us (parent or not) and areinterested in helping out before or during the event for work-trade, please let me know asap.

Listing below:

What a great program. I wish I could be there. I teach kids wilderness skills in the summer in Maine. I hope a lot of parents take advantage of this opportunity. Have fun!

Now how can we offer something like this in New Jersey?

There are still several spots open if anyone wants me to reserve them.

Monday I had 12 people sign up.

We might split into two groups, since we already have extra instructors on-hand.
