Thru Hike Spring 2008

Hello,

I am starting to plan a south>north thru hike starting in march/april 2008. I am a laid back soul with some backpacking experience (the first sections of the colorado trail in 2002). I am looking to correspond with seasoned appalachian trail hikers and novices alike to gain as much knowledge as possible before my trip. I am also possibly interested in starting a group, at least for the beginning of the trip. Thanks.

I am 64 year old female and looking for other older hinking ladies for possible thru hike in 08.

I can't think of anything else than beginning the AT in 2008. I have the "Springer Feaver" to the point of obsession. Walkiing every day up at the five mile minimum now. Still have a lot of desk weight to get rid off. Hope to see you all on the trail.
