Im thinking about using this bag on my thru. It's relatively lightweight (1lb 12oz) and is synthetic so I dont have to worry about it getting wet. Id love to get a WM Highlite but thats just out of my budget. The down version does compress better but Ive never had a synthetic bag so Id like to try it out. The synthetic and down versions weigh the same too.

Yes I already have a Marmot Sawtooth for winter. The Kelty would be the one to use when its 80-90 out on the trail in the northeast and like 60 at night. Plus I sleep hot.

I have one. It's my opinion that the 45 degree rating is right on and I like the zipper by the feet. I'm not a warm sleeper. I got mine two summers ago, and I carry it in the warmest months. Like it a lot, especially since I only paid $60 for it.
