Got a half-dozen or so. Pretty versatile and light, REI sells them on clearance for $3-4.00 a couple times a year.

I always carry two (instead of bandanas).

See you on the trail,

Well, we were keeping it a secret and were going to surprise you for your birthday, but now your step-brother ruined it so I guess you'll have to settle for the pony...

you know it's just spandexy fabric sewed in a tube, right?

Spandexy - I think you just made a word! :) Not sewed by the way - no seams or hems. Made with stitch-free magic by the spandexy elves...

If nothing else, the bloopers on http://buffusa.com/waystowear.html are pretty funny... especially the last piece.

I checked out the buffusa site but nowhere I could find what the buff weighs - anyone have any source for the weight of a buff?

Some hikers hike in these things on June 12.

in the FAQ...

What size is a Buff?
Buff measures 20 by 9 inches when laid out flat. It weighs just less than two ounces. When folded a Buff will fit in your pocket and you'll hardly know it's there (until you need it!). One size fits most adults. Junior Buffs are for kids 7 to 12 years old.

Summer solstice is the day but hikers typically just call it June 21st, aka Hike Naked Day

"Less than two ounces" - OK I missed that but it would be nice to know a little more accurately - bear with me - my inner gram weenie is nagging at me
