A great party even by St. Patrick's Day party standards.

There'll be some photos trickling in. First I have to rest.

Sorry I missed it for sure. Were going over there at some point this summer for some trout fishing. Wify says she's never eaten trout so were going for some fresh ones. Looks like a great family place to camp and fish.

Well I am just now coming up for air.

My friend Jan from Florida helped me shop two days before and cook the entire day before. We had about 50+ gallons of Corned Beef and Cabbage that was awesome, BB's, salads, banana puddin that lasted about 5 minutes, smoked trout, smoked trout dip and lots of beer, smores, chocolate cake, etc

I have to thank SmokyT for the fabulous sausage and BBQ.
Thank s Mala for cooking up hiker hash and generally doing his magic madness and mayhem. He also oversaw smoking 30 pounds of porkbutt that was great.
Thanks to Ron Haven who bussed about 20 folks here.....that kicked the party up a notch, and all the goodies they brought to eat.
Thanks to Skidsteer for all the HOTEL soaps and shampoo's he's collected over the last year.
GrannyFanny what a sweet heart....she brought all kinds of drinks, the drunk and non drunk kind! She helped out a lot too!
Thank you Big ol Boy and Tabasco for all their work and help around here!
Oh and my gawd how could I forget the TAMALES and entertainment!
Speaking of entertainment - check back later for photos.
We had at least 10 tents taking us up on the free camping for the night.
The fire pit was raging, the jacuzzi was HOT.
Thanks JohnnyMudd for seranading us! (make sure you check back for his photo)
Thanks everyone that came, those of you THAT did not even though you promised LAST YEAR - you know who you are and I won't mention any names.

We enjoyed every moment of it.

It's taken many years to perfect and a proven method. Newbs may find it difficult but it should work as well for sections hikers with time on their hands.

Skid Love the jiggling photo of the jugglers......nice Oppss effect!

Lots of people probably think I have a special effects option on my camera but through years of trial and error I've found that it's not necessary.

Strangely enough, the same effect can be accomplished by opening and closing a cooler lid twelve times.

Oh.

That's Lumpy's sleeping bag but he's not in it. The coolers were full so he chilled his beer in the creek. He put the beer in his bag to keep hikers from stealing it.

After all, who's gonna steal a wet sleeping bag?
