In the summer on the trail in the north where should you switch to a warmer bag? Ill be carrying a 40* bag and after I do switch over does it get warmer so that I could go back to the 40*?
What? How to confuse a simple question... Most start out with a 15*-20* bag, switch to a lighter bag some where after Mt Rogers and switch back in Glencliff, NH.

So in mid-May I will start at Harpers Ferry, WV and go north to Katahdin in Baxter State Park, ME come back to Harpers Ferry by transportation and go south to Springer Mountain, GA.
