Well, one thought is that with poor smelling skills you would'nt know when other thus were in the area, nor when a bear was stalking you. I feel that poor smelling skills may actually be beneficial because all your food would taste the same thus avoiding the "getting bored eating the same things day after day syndrome", and you could avoid bathing since you wouldn't smell yourself. Just think how much you would enjoy an AYCE oatmeal special. Why you might even enjoy a MS hiking diet of liver and broccoli.

Oh, Hmm the word was spelling.....my bad, never mind.

Matthew is out of Philthydelphia this weekend. He's on the AT Bagging Garbage, or did he say Gagging Barbage?

Captain William Clark's spelling was famously innovative; not only did he spell phonetically but evidently he spoke with a strong Kentucky accent.

Still, of the 4 journals kept during the Lewis & Clark Expedition, his always the most fun to read.
