I took liberty to copy and paste Trail Markers from Appalachian Trail Conference (http://www.appalachiantrail.org/hike/hike_info/markings.html). :D The webpage provide there, is not printed out in color and graph just right, which require cut-out. While I did not ask for permission to use their texts, I, however with due respect, did state that it is courtesy of ATC.

I plan to petition ATC to make Trail Markers in both regular-pt. 12 and smaller-pt. 10 formats, and be ready-downloadable as universal electronic reader in Portable Document Format (http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep.html). I created in OmniOutliner (http://www.omnigroup.com/applications/omnioutliner/), which is the premier idea tool for outlining and organizing your thoughts on MacOS X. It help me lot on AT planning stage, and I assume using OmniOutliner did save me a lot of back-track guessing, and miscalculation.

I did this in order to memorize 8 different blazers and markers that I should expect in and out AT corridor. THAT LINK IS OUTDATE AND THAT FILE HAS LONG REMOVED... in PDF. Sorry

AS OF 2005, Appalachian Trail Conservancy no longer has a description OF EACH BLAZERS AND CAIRN, yet you still can find that webpage in "Follow the Blazes" (http://www.appalachiantrail.org/hike/hike_info/markings.html) webpage. I will attempt to find out whether I can find and reproduce those blazers and incorporate into PDF for everyone to use. ALDHA should have those "Quick Card."
