A '04 thruhiker, Oxymoron, AKA Mike Haaser has lost a leg due to an industrial accident with a tow motor. He is in MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland and has a long road ahead to recovery and rehab with a prosthetic leg. I am sure that he would welcome mail from hikers, especially those of you who may have hiked with him in '04.

He is staying in good spirits. They are grafting skin from his back to the stump today.
