has anyone ever tried these foods? they have powdered eggs, butter, even peanut butter. im wondering it they would be good to buy in #10 cans and repackage for the trail. anybody with experience?

When I researched the can size, it scared me. Says it hold about 13 cups. I think that is the size of a large coffee can.

That's a lot of food. Not much room for variety.

well, sure. its a #10 can. those of us of a certain age, poor, and from the south know exactly what size that is. the #10 'mater can has been used for everything from johnboat-bailer to lunch-pail. but i digress.
im talking about repackaging in ziplocks and having them mailed to me in my mail. so has anyone ever actually tried the stuff?

I have a can of their Scrambled Eggs at home. I'll let you know. that's what I was planning to do (with a foodsaver)

I got 3 cans of powdered milk from them last summer. They last a looong time unopened and more than 4 months opened. They had good service and good prices.
