I am looking at doing 5+ days possibly in August. I am looking at Damascus< va as a starting point. Where is a good place to pull out after 5 days and be able to get to a bus station?

Get off at Atkins/I-81 and hitch or get a shuttle to Marion 8 miles away to catch a Greyhound.
