What is a good, light, decently priced 2 man tent?

This probably doesn't fit into your 'decently priced' category, but I love my MSR Hubba Hubba.

The Brawny tarptent (http://www.antigravitygear.com/store/product_info.php?cPath=1&products_id=246) or Brawny tarp (http://www.antigravitygear.com/store/product_info.php?products_id=253&osCsid=0e0920942beb2905a54198cd5390f1a4)would be my choice

Price would probably be a concern of yours with these too ...but check out the Double Rainbow from Henry Shires:

...and the Lunar Duo from Six Moon Designs:

This is an effin' shame since the MSR line came into being from the remains of Walrus tents and Walrus was a damned affordable tent company with very high quality and light weight.

Couldn't agree more. I owned one of the original Walrus Zoids and really liked it. Well made, reasonably light and not overly expensive.

Amen to that. I've got an Arch Rival XV, a Rapeede XV with tent lanai add-on and a Zoid 1.0. All three have provided excellent service and treated with care shold keep on a few more years. The Arch Rival has 34 sq ft, a 6 sq ft vestibule, weighs 4 lbs 4 oz and cost $169.00 and is great for 2 person backpacking. Well worth snagging if you find one used.

I agree whole heartedly. I had the Walrus Zoid 1.5 and loved that tent. To bad it was stolen. Now I hang like that even better.

That all depends are what you consider to be light?

Under 2 1/2 lbs you cannot beat the Six Moons Lunar Duo...wow is this one great tent you can sit up in with an LARGE easy SIDE entry with no poles in your way.

But decently priced there are lots to pick from under 5 lbs and under $200

I have all three the Henry Shires Squall, Brawny's Tarptent and the above mentioned Lunar Duo and EACH have there purpose.

Only for a two man tent that allows room for 4 adults to sit up and play cards in a rain storm....wins hands down to me!!!
