If dogs are allowed in the canoe can someone please describe their experience so I can be somewhat prepared? If dogs are not allowed then how did you cross the river?

Thanks - gpk

All you need do is PM Steve the ferry man. He is the guy that runs the ferry and he'll tell you everything you need to know. He's a great guy. My guess is he's dog friendly.:)

Dogs can ride in the canoe.

The dogs I've seen seemed to like it.

Ed loves to canoe. He just lays there sunning himself, while I do all the work. I'm just waiting for the day he tells me to get him a beer. LOL. :D

my dog wouldn't get into the canoe. he swam across instead, and actually beat us to the other side.

.......freakin' purists!:D

Now that would be even funnier in the rather testy 'purists dilemma' thread.:D
