I was wondering if anyone could help me with the +/-s between the Atmos 65 and the Aether 70? I currently have an Atmos 50 that I love but I was told that it wont be big enough to fit all of my gear. Any recommendations or advice?

Yes, buy all your other gear first, and then take it, food, water, and fuel to your local outfitter and load up some packs and see what works best for you and your gear.

I just did a 12 day thru hike of the 140ish mile Pinhoti trail with the Atmost 50, carried 6 days of food at a time, never had worries about volume.

(Was carrying bag, tent, fly, poles, clothes, food, filter, mylar ground sheet, personal stuff kit, 1st aid kit, crocs, alcohol to cook with... what else? It all fit fine...

Thats good to know as I have an Atmos50 L and being able to carry 6 days of food at a time easily without problems is nice.

I just got my in the mail last night. Woo-hoo! Anyways, It looks like it will work fine, as long as you're not carrying a 2L pot, 4lb big tent, and/or a bulky sleeping bag that doesn't compress well in the pack.
