Apparently there is something new under the sun; actually it is a copy on nature Here is a link to an artical so you can read it straight. What do you think?:banana

Hmm sounds like smoke and mirrors to me. No matter what the suspension is youre still carrying X amount of weight. Your body still has to bear this weight no matter where its placed, especially the knees. Now maybe this takes weight off from different places and puts it in others. I wonder how much the pack weighs itself.

On second thought maybe they mean the weight savings comes from not having to carry batteries or chargers.

On a level surface as we walk our pack mass sifts in vertical oscillation of two inches. One thousand steps on a level surface we lift through vertical oscillation, our pack mass a sum of 2000 inches or 166.6666666666666666666667 feet. The suspension pack levels out the vertical oscillation so that for One thousand steps on a level surface with a suspension pack you lift the pack 0.000000 feet through vertical oscillation. Lets demonstrate the effect that suspension has on an automobile. You lock up the suspension and you bust the axle. It is necessary to read the entire article to glean up what I just summarized. I a knuckle dragger and I need to mouth the words as I read for improved comprehension and even I got it

The thing needs to be tuned like perfectly or it'll suck more energy out of you than you can imagine. Or else it'll shake you unmercifully.

The same principle is used on vibration dampers to stop the vibration of some things. Get some mass on a spring to have its natural frequency just right and it will stop the vibration of the primary thing.

You can verify it for yourself easily. Get a plastic bag and put something like, say, a coffee cup, in it. Then go for a walk, letting the bag swing freely. Change the length from the cup to where you hold it and when you've got it right, it'll be swinging and your arm will be steady.

What happens is that it's exactly at the right frequency, 180 degrees out of phase with your arm, and it cancels out the arm swinging.

My recommendation is to skip it.

The mousetrap you have already kills mice.

Why design one with more parts that can fail?
